Schola Cantorum of Eau Claire is a 12-voice choir in the Eau Claire and Chippewa Valley area dedicated to the historically informed performance of a cappella vocal music of the medieval, renaissance, and baroque. There are two programs in our concert season, with two performances for each program; additional short performances or fundraising events may take place. Singers will be compensated on a profit-sharing model.

Audition will take roughly 15 minutes; no prior preparation required: vocalize, tonal memory, a cappella singing, and sight reading.

Come join the Schola Cantorum! We are seeking singers in all voice parts.

Auditions will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Eau Claire (1314 E. Lexington Blvd).

You don't need to prepare anything. However, please sign up online using the links provided behind each date. You only need to sign up for one, 15-minute audition slot.

Voice range, vocal color, intonation and sight reading skills are the main deciding factors in the audition process.
